These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PairSpace mobile application ("App") operated by PairSpace ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using PairSpace, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
PairSpace is a personal and shared-space organizer for couples, individuals, and households. The App lets you manage notes, expenses, reminders, recipes, goals, mood tracking, gratitude journals, media watchlists, book lists, moments, countdowns, and menstrual cycle logs — in both personal ("My Space") and shared ("Our Space") contexts.
The App connects to cloud services to sync data across devices. An internet connection is required for full functionality, though limited offline access is available.
You must be at least 16 years old to use PairSpace. By creating an account you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has consented to your use of the App.
PairSpace lets you invite a partner to a shared space by entering their email address. By sending or accepting an invite:
PairSpace offers a free tier with module and entry limits as described in the App.
A premium subscription ("PairSpace Premium") unlocks unlimited modules, unlimited entries, enhanced AI features, and priority access to new features.
When one partner in a household has PairSpace Premium, the premium benefits extend to the shared space and both partners' personal spaces. If the subscribing partner cancels, all spaces revert to the free tier.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
You retain ownership of all content you create in PairSpace — including notes, recipes, images, mood entries, and journal messages ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Content created in a shared space is visible to and can be edited by both partners. After un-pairing, shared content remains associated with the shared space but may become inaccessible depending on account status.
PairSpace uses AI (via Groq LLM) to provide recipe recommendations, movie/series recommendations, and recipe parsing. AI-generated suggestions are for informational purposes only. We make no warranties about the accuracy, safety, or suitability of AI-generated content, including recipes that may contain allergens or incorrect ingredient information.
You agree not to upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. While we do not proactively monitor User Content, we reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

Each third-party service is governed by its own terms. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.
The PairSpace App, including its design, code, logos, and original content, is the intellectual property of PairSpace and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written consent.
PairSpace is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PairSpace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PairSpace from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Continued use of PairSpace after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union (specifically, the GDPR and applicable EU digital regulations). Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of your country of residence within the EU, or in Italian courts if you reside outside the EU.
